CFT CENCO, a través de la representación de la Directora Interina de Equidad de Género e Inclusión, participó activamente en la reactivación de la Red de Educación Superior Inclusiva Metropolitana (RESI), instancia que agrupa a diversas Instituciones de Educación Superior (IES) de la región y que busca promover el acceso, la participación y la permanencia de estudiantes en situación de discapacidad desde una perspectiva de derechos.
La RESI cuenta con el respaldo de la Subsecretaría de Educación Superior y del Servicio Nacional de la Discapacidad (SENADIS), y tiene como propósito articular esfuerzos colaborativos que permitan fortalecer la inclusión educativa en el nivel técnico y profesional. El trabajo de la red se enmarca en criterios relevantes del proceso de acreditación institucional, como los Criterios 7 y 9, enfocados en equidad y gestión inclusiva.
Durante la jornada, se desarrollaron mesas de trabajo interinstitucionales. CFT CENCO formó parte de la comisión encargada de abordar la dimensión de gestión institucional, junto a instituciones como IPCHILE, UC, Santo Tomás, Universidad del Alba, INACAP, IACC, Universidad Alberto Hurtado, AIEP, Universidad de los Andes, Adolfo Ibáñez y UNIACC.
Entre los principales desafíos identificados se encuentra la necesidad de contar con recursos técnicos y profesionales suficientes, superar barreras actitudinales persistentes y avanzar desde la instalación normativa hacia una implementación efectiva con evaluación de impacto. También se enfatizó la importancia de identificar a los y las estudiantes que requieren apoyos, generar indicadores pertinentes y transversalizar el enfoque inclusivo en todas las áreas institucionales.
Además, se destacó la urgencia de institucionalizar la formación docente en inclusión y de articular estas acciones con otras áreas estratégicas, como las unidades legales y administrativas. En esta línea, se propuso la creación de un curso transversal compartido entre instituciones, abierto a docentes, colaboradores(as) y estudiantes.
Las y los participantes reconocieron avances normativos relevantes, aunque aún incipientes en el cambio de actitudes institucionales. Se valoró el rol articulador de la RESI, así como su vinculación con el MINEDUC, SENADIS y la Subsecretaría de Educación Superior. En esta nueva etapa, la red proyecta generar una propuesta de política pública concreta que permita abordar los desafíos de financiamiento y lineamientos operativos para fortalecer la inclusión en la educación superior chilena.
