Con gran convocatoria se desarrolló la charla “Responsabilidad Penal Adolescente y el Rol de la Escuela”, organizada por el Área de Educación de CFT CENCO, que reunió a más de 100 asistentes entre estudiantes, titulados(as), docentes, directivos(as) de establecimientos educacionales, apoderados(as) y profesionales de distintas comunidades educativas a nivel nacional.
La actividad contó con la exposición del psicólogo Alejandro Montero, especialista en intervención psicosocial, participación comunitaria y justicia restaurativa, quien presentó una revisión de la Ley 20.084 sobre Responsabilidad Penal Adolescente y de las modificaciones introducidas con la creación del Servicio Nacional de Reinserción Social Juvenil.
Durante su presentación, Montero destacó la importancia del rol activo de las comunidades educativas en la prevención, acompañamiento y formación en valores ciudadanos, señalando que la escuela es un espacio clave para orientar a jóvenes, fortalecer factores protectores y promover la inclusión. Asimismo, recalcó que la reinserción social debe ser entendida como un proceso integral e interinstitucional, que combine la intervención psicoeducativa con el compromiso de familias, instituciones públicas y sociedad en general.
El encuentro permitió resolver inquietudes en torno a situaciones concretas, como el porte de armas en establecimientos educacionales, la continuidad de sanciones cuando un adolescente cumple la mayoría de edad durante un proceso judicial y la necesidad de protocolos claros en las escuelas.
Se destacó la participación de la Confederación Nacional de Asistentes de la Educación de Chile (CONFEMUCH), actor externo relevante que se está vinculando a este tipo de iniciativas. Su reconocimiento simboliza la apertura hacia organizaciones gremiales y sociales, evidenciando la importancia de sumar miradas diversas en torno a la convivencia escolar y la responsabilidad penal adolescente.
La Directora de Vinculación con el Medio e Innovación de CFT CENCO, Lorena González, agradeció la masiva participación y subrayó que esta charla se enmarca en el proyecto institucional de Convivencia Educativa, orientado a abrir espacios de reflexión y formación conjunta con la comunidad.Finalmente, se anunció que en octubre se realizará una segunda jornada, enfocada en los aspectos socioculturales de la dinámica juvenil y su relación con la responsabilidad penal adolescente, dando continuidad a un ciclo de actividades que busca construir comunidades educativas más inclusivas, informadas y comprometidas con la formación integral de las y los jóvenes.
